About Lisa

Lisa has had extensive experience dealing with different modalities of medicine and health care. Through this, she has fostered a great appreciation for non-invasive, gentle, curative medicine. Her employment history includes counselling and rehabilitative work with dually diagnosed adults, social work, personal counselling, rape crisis counselling, reproductive health counselling, doula (labour and delivery assistance) and as a homeopathic doctor.

Lisa's introduction to homeopathy began as a patient, and has culminated in her becoming a Homeopathic Doctor. She has a great respect for homeopathic medicine and the amazing results that can be achieved when classical homeopathy is applied to almost any ailment.

Lisa attended the Toronto School for Homeopathic Medicine, where she received extensive training in anatomy and physiology, clinical nutrition, pathology, counselling and physical examination. She further studied homeopathic treatment as it relates to neurology, immunology, gastroenterology, gynecology, urology, rheumatology, respirology, proctology, dermatology, gerontology, cardiology and psychology/psychiatry.

Lisa believes in life-long education and is continuing her studies with world renowned homeopath Dr Joseph Kellerstein in his ‘Homeopathy by the Book' program. Lisa is committed to ensuring that she is an effective and proficient practitioner and is a member of NUPATH (National United Professional Association of Trained Homeopaths, the largest and oldest national professional association for homeopaths in Canada).

Lisa works with adults, children and animals, and is pleased to offer house calls as an option for appointments.

Lisa is also available to provide informational seminars about homeopathy as it relates to first aid, pregnancy and labour, children's health, menopause, allergies, cold & flu, sprains & strains, stress & anxiety and a variety of other topics upon request.
